Scroll left and right to see the audio settings for you TV. (Enlarge image by clicking on it)
1. Download Dolby Atmos On PC
Sequence:
Click on the 🔊 icon to check if your computer has switched audio device to “NAKAMICHI”. If your computer still displays another audio device, press the 🔼 Icon and select “NAKAMICHI”
After doing so, right click on 🔊 , select “Speaker setup” and “Dolby Atmos for Home theater”.
Microsoft Store will open, prompting you to install Dolby Access. Click “Get”.
Once installed successfully, click “Launch”
Dolby Access will open. To save time, click “Skip”
On the next window, Click “Skip”. (You do not need to purchase Dolby Atmos)
Dolby Access Launch screen opens. Select “Products”
2. Setup Dolby Atmos On PC
Sequence:
Select the icon that looks like a home theater. Click “Setup”
Home Theater Setup appears. Select “Continue”.
“NAKAMICHI” Should be displayed. Click “Continue”.
If another audio device is being shown instead, select “Audio Devices” and select “Nakamichi”.
Dolby Access will now tell you that it is ready for use. Click “Experience Now”.
You will be brought back to the Dolby Access home screen. Scroll down to “Dolby Demo Content” and choose “Nature’s Fury”.
If installation was successful, launching this video will stream Dolby atmos Content. The Soundbar will display “DOLBY ATMOS” momentarily.
Notes: In some instances, When playing offline video files with Dolby Atmos content, the computer may be able to send Dolby Atmos content to the soundbar, even without the above configuration. However, certain services will not be able to play surround sound content. Thus, it is important to install Dolby Access.
3. Troubleshooting on PC (If Dolby Atmos Did Not Play)
Sequence:
Right click 🔊 Icon, select Speaker Setup, and select Advanced Setup
Under “Playback” Tab, Select “Nakamichi”. Set this as Default Device if Windows does not do this automatically. Double click on “Nakamichi” playback Device
Select Supported formats. Under “Encoded Formats”, scroll down and confirm that Dolby Atmos is listed.*
Go to “Advanced” Tab. Under Exclusive mode, ensure “Allow Applications to take exclusive control of this device” and “Give exclusive mode applications priority” are both selected.
Go to the Spatial Sound Tab. Under “Spatial Sound format”, select “Dolby Atmos for Home Theater”.
Click “OK” to close both dialog boxes.
Right click 🔊, under speaker setup, select Dolby Atmos for home theather.
*As Dolby Atmos support is also dependent on your computer hardware, on less capable hardware, “Dolby Atmos” may not be listed. In such cases, there is no way to get Dolby Atmos from your PC.
