HDMI 2.1 Cable Recommendations

For the best video and audio performance, we strongly recommend using certified Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cables.

These cables are tested by the HDMI® Licensing Administrator to ensure support for 4K and 8K, HDR, VRR, eARC, and all other HDMI 2.1 features. They are also tested for low EMI (Electromagnetic Interference), reducing signal interference with nearby wireless networks and devices.

Identifying Certified HDMI 2.1 Cables

Look for the following indicators:

  • An Ultra High Speed HDMI Certification Label on the packaging or cable.

  • A unique QR code or hologram on the label for authentication.

  • A cable jacket marked with “Ultra High Speed HDMI”.

Online marketing materials will advertise the presence of these certification labels. Learn more here.

💡 Use cables shorter than 10 ft for maximum stability.
