Optimize Shockwafe Wireless Audio Performance
While Shockwafe Wireless has been fine-tuned to deliver high-fidelity immersive sound, room acoustics and speaker placement play a significant role in achieving the best experience.
Maximizing Surround Speaker Performance:
1. Position each surround speaker symmetrically beside or behind the couch, facing your seating area.


2. Ensure your TV and media devices are configured to output multi-channel surround formats when available (e.g. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby Digital Plus, LPCM 5.1/7.1).
Visit our device settings page to optimize audio output on your content devices.
3. For stereo tracks, choose All Ch Stereo to upmix audio to the surround speaker channels.
4. Press SS+ or SB+ to increase the channel volume of your surround speakers.

Want More Surround Sound?
1. Adjust the volume of the left/right surround speakers

Press SETUP repeatedly until ‘LSURR’ / ‘RSURR’ is displayed. Press ENTER.

Press ▶ ️to increase the volume, from 0 up to +3. Press ENTER to confirm.
💡 Use these settings to balance output when speakers are placed at unequal distances from your listening position.
2. Increase the soundbar surround output.

Press SETUP repeatedly until ‘INNER SUR’ / ‘OUTER SUR’ is displayed. Press ENTER.

Press ▶ to increase the level of the selected surround channel. Press ENTER to apply.
Maximizing Subwoofer Performance:
1. Place each 10” subwoofer cabinet in the front corners of the room, or between your TV and listening area.

2. Adjust bass using your remote control

3. Choose your preferred EQ mode. Use the Movie/Music EQ button to toggle.

Movie/Music 1: Maximum bass intensity

Movie/Music 2 or 3: Less intense, more balanced bass profiles

4. Set the subwoofer crossover frequency to fine-tune bass tone:

Press SETUP repeatedly until “CROSSOVR” is displayed. Press ENTER.

Use ◀/▶ to select your preferred crossover setting (Options: 130, 150, 180Hz).

Press ENTER to apply.
5. Ensure Night Mode is set to NIGHT OFF for full dynamic bass range.
Bass Too Overpowering?
1. Loop familiar content with a consistent bass line. Move each subwoofer away from the room corners one inch at a time. Observe if bass quality improves.
2. Reduce Low-Frequency Effects (LFE)

Press SETUP repeatedly until “LOW FREQ EFFECTS” is displayed. Press ENTER.

Reduce by 1 to 3 dB, and press ENTER.
Maximize Height Channel Performance:
1. Ensure content is in Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. Check the current audio format or codec using the INFO button.
2. Press Surround and select Dolby Surround, Neural:X or Studio upmixing modes. For stereo content, select All Channel Stereo to upmix audio to your height speakers.
3. Press AHD and select AHD Wide or Ultra.
4. Press FH+, MH+ or RH+ to increase height channel volume.
Height Effects Too Intense?

Press AHD and set AHD to OFF or Focal.
