STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:

Connect Chromecast HDMI port to DRAGON HDMI input for high quality video and audio.

Sequence:

Press RIGHT button on remote to bring up side panel
Select Settings
Display & Sound > Advanced sound settings > Automatic

Press the INFO button on DRAGON remote control to verify the audio format received on DRAGON via on-screen display (Dolby / DTS audio for best audio)

Connect Device's HDMI OUT to DRAGON HDMI 2 or 3 with a HDMI-certified High-Speed 2.0 cable (18Gbps) for high quality video and audio. Recommended HDMI Cable >

If your TV has been connected to a sound system previously, unplug your TV from power supply for 5 minutes to refresh the HDMI connection.

Connect TV's HDMI eARC to DRAGON HDMI 1 eARC with a HDMI-certified High-Speed 2.1 cable (48Gbps) for high quality video and audio. Recommended HDMI Cable >

Select output or Dolby Digital Plus for audio systems supporting Dolby Digital Plus and ARC. If you use ARC and optical audio out, select [Dolby Digital]. (Dolby Digital Plus will be muted over optical audio out.)

If your TV has been connected to a sound system previously, perform full reset on your TV to clear the cache.

Play a video with 5.1 surround audio (e.g Stranger Things on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video) before setting up

Scroll left and right to see the audio settings for you TV. (Enlarge image by clicking on it)

Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Audio Delay > 0
Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Audio Output > ARC
Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Advanced Settings > Balance > 0
Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Advanced Settings > Auto Volume Control > Off
Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Advanced Settings > Digital Audio Out > Pass Through
Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Advanced Settings > DTS DRC > On
Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Dolby Atmos > On

For video apps such as iTunes, Netflix, Prime Video and Vudu with Dolby Atmos surround, Apple TV 4K outputs the audio signal in Dolby Atmos MAT format.

For streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video and Vudu with non-Dolby Atmos 5.1 surround, refer to item 4 to output Dolby Digial 5.1 for optimal surround performance.

Ensure your TV HDMI ARC port supports min of HDCP 2.2 standard to allow 4K HDR/Dolby Vision display. Check your TV manual for more information.

Settings > Resolution > 4K 60Hz
Settings > Dynamic range and colour format > Dynamic range format preference > HDR
Settings > Match content frame rate > Seamless

Play Dolby Vision / HDR contents on Netflix to verify video output format. Your TV will display a notification mentioning the Dolby Vision / HDR format is activated. Alternatively, press the INFO button on DRAGON remote to verify video format output via on-screen display.
